it’s so cold…

…that we decided to move our mattress into the living room (where it’s a bit warmer) to have a slumber party. Tonight Saya stayed up bouncing around way past her bed time.  She was so happy, we didn’t have the heart to stop her.

There are new frame mats in the Sycamore Street Press shop.  I bought one at the Handmade Arcade and I love it.  It looks great in my dining room with a black and white photograph.

I picked up this cute bowl and plate for Saya at Target a few days ago.  They’re $2.99 each.  She usually uses our ceramic dishes, but I think I’ll feel more relaxed with her using these unbreakable plastic ones.  (And I love the birds!)
