This week was a bit different for us because the G20 came to town. And a lot of the action and the clashes between police and protesters was right here in our neighborhood. Picture hundreds of police in riot gear everywhere you try to go. Really I will not miss them. I am also glad for a night of quiet. For the past week we could hear army helicopters overhead at all times. Will not miss them either.
So with all of the action going on outside, we chose to mostly stay in. I may have done differently if I were single, but my first priority was to keep the little one safe and sound.
