I don’t have any new pictures to share today, so I dug out an old one—me and Saya, just before her first birthday, in Japan. Gosh she has grown up so much.
We’re both a little under the weather right now. Nothing too serious, just colds. But home feels so good right now. I really believe that when your house is in order, everything else in your life kind of falls into place. We’re finished with our big room changing project. Saya has her room, Junji has his studio, I have my studio, we’ve gotten rid of stuff that we don’t need, and everything is organized and clean. I can sense that everyone in our little family is in a happy and peaceful state of mind. I feel ready for the coming winter and spending more of our time indoors. I’ve been busy making things too, but I’ll share about that later…

Oh Kristen, I hope that you all get well soon. I am happy that you are content at home. That is the best place to be when you aren’t feeling on top of it all.
Something to cheer you. The spools are in the mail.
