I made this skirt for Saya last week. I think it’s cute, but Junji said that the material reminds him of an old-lady skirt. Actually it was an old-lady skirt that I got at a thrift store and re-made, so he is kind of right. But I like wool for fall and winter.

Oh I love it! I think that it is so sweet, and I actually didn’t get the Old Woman skirt feeling.
Love it
I think it is sweet!
I love wool (and tweed especially) skirts for winter! Where oh where did those fab socks come from??
I love it too! I wish I could sew! But maybe I can just hire you to sew something adorable for Gianna for me!!
what a great idea! I have a bunch of vintage skirts that don’t quite fit me but I don’t want to get rid of. I should make some skirts and jumpers for Molly!
So adorable! No old lady vibe here.
Thanks everyone! Heather and Tania–I’m so glad you’re not picking up on any old lady vibe. I got the socks at a flea market from a woman who had been traveling in India. They’re really warm and cute (they come to a little point at the toe.)
adorable!! love her little slippers with it too

thank you
ana
Thank you Ana. Yes of course, please try to make a texture words book! I think it would make a good gift for a baby or toddler.
I have put aside some of my old skirts for this very purpose. Now I just have to find the time! Oh, for more hours in the day.
This is my first visit and I will be back!
