I picked up this granny squares blanket at an estate sale over the weekend. I think it’s cool, but my husband pretty much hates it. He probably wishes our house looked more like this.
Don’t forget to check out our etsy sale for Haiti emergency relief. I listed some more children’s pottery. There’s also a cute apron, scarf, and lots of other stuff.

I like the granny squares. But I LOVE that Japanese farmhouse you linked to. I have had a fantasy about running off to the middle of nowhere and living in an old Japanese farmhouse ever since I read Lost Japan. I can use those photos to help convince my husband!
Actually I love the Japanese house too, but I couldn’t keep my house looking like that because I find too many different kind of things that I like. I wonder how Saya’s purple and pink little tykes car would fit into that Japanese house…haha.
I love the granny square blanket. Keep at it with your husband, they just don’t like change – he will get used to it.
Warm wishes, Tonya
okay…I’m glad that I am not alone. I really love that Japanese farmhouse…but hey that’s me! The granny squares are definitely cute though.
