Today I had a good day with my family, Saya fell asleep on my chest in the late afternoon after a busy day. She doesn’t do that much anymore, so I soaked in every precious moment. I am in a slump right now. I don’t feel like doing anything. I am not too worried about it though, because it happens to me from time to time. It usually lasts about a week or so. I did make Saya a heart necklace to wear for Valentine’s Day. She looked so pretty in her Mette dress today. I love her and my husband so much.
I am thinking of ways to get out of my slump. One of my ideas is to clear out everything in my house, take everything off of the walls, and look at a blank slate for a while. Then clean everything really well, and put everything back together, but in a better way. That might be fun.

oh the slumps! i get them, too. it sounds like you have the right plan to work it out. i like to make lists – it helps me to get things done and be productive during these times.

I get in slumps too. Sometimes it’s good just to give yourself a little break, read books and magazines (as much as the toddler allows) and let inspiration come back gradually. But de-cluttering always feels good too.
